Schneider Electric has announced the launch of the APC Easy Rack PDU range, which it says provides an easy-to-install, easy-to-use and customisable power distribution unit for connected loads.
The new range aims to provide reliable power connection at a more competitive cost and caters to a range of environments, from network closets, to edge computing environments and to small and medium data centres.
SSE Enterprise Telecoms has connected eight new data centres to its 100Gbps network and upgraded four existing facilities.
The connectivity provider is now connected to more than 90 commercial data centres across the UK.
The newly-connected eight data centres are located in England, Scotland and Wales, including ASK4 in Sheffield, AQL DC2 and DC5 in Leeds, SCC and Six Degrees in Birmingham, DataVita and Pulsant in Glasgow and Next Generation Data in Newport.
