Third-party risk management is a team exercise – you can’t just leave it to an IT employee to check for threats, or rely on technology to monitor it for you. Instead, monitoring for third party risks (be they suppliers, vendors, contractors or partners) means getting everyone on board. Employees across the organisation need to know what the risks are when using third party software and services, and prepare for them.
