Dan Vasile is Vice President - Strategic Cyber Advisory at BlueVoyant, a leading global cyber defence organisation that helps companies across the world to secure their digital estate. In his role, he’s advising organisations on how to best protect their business and provides thought leadership for strategic cybersecurity planning. Dan joined BlueVoyant in 2022 following more than four years at multimedia and entertainment company Paramount, where he was Vice President of Information Security, leading the company’s EMEA information security and privacy programs as well as the global strategy and GRC functions. Prior to his time at Paramount, Dan led the digital security and privacy efforts at Veon, a top Telecommunications company headquartered in Amsterdam and before that he worked in cyber leadership roles at Canon and Electronic Arts. Throughout his 20-year career, he developed global information security and privacy programs to protect businesses from increasingly complex threat environments. Dan is an active member of the cybersecurity community, having contributed to open source initiatives, such as the Framework for Application Security. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events, delivering content on a wide range of cybersecurity topics for ISF and Gartner amongst others.
