Robert is extremely passionate about cyber, risk, and security. After picking up his initial toolset as a child hacker, he continued his exposure to technological security with a career in the military. Since leaving the military he has provided specialist cyber security expertise to varying sectors, from telecoms to devolved governmental bodies. He experience, whilst wide in context has enabled him to develope a broad range of specialist skills in multiple domains, including resilliance of cyber systems, analysis of threat management and the interoperability of cross functions, such as security architecture and offensive security. He is also skilled in developing strategies to incorporate and deploy a variety of frameworks: including att&ck methodologies, secure by design and Zero Trust He is now the senior cyber security lead at the PHSO and heads up their information and Cyber Security Function.
