Chani is a passionate entrepreneur, C-level advisor, vCISO, ISO27001 and IASME auditor, Cyber Essentials assessor, UK NCSC certified Cyber Advisor and specialist in helping organisations to implement and manage information security and data protection programs. Has been an information technology professional for over 20 years. Volunteers as a Judge for SC media and (ISC)2 global achievements awards. Since the age of 19, Chani has been an enthusiast in information technology. Graduated from Kingston University, London with a BSc (hons) in Computer Science. She spent a considerable amount of years as an infrastructure virtualisation consultant at IBM UK and advanced her career towards IT infrastructure security as an independent consultant, then co-founding Meta Defence Labs in 2015, an award-winning boutique information security service provider and a Assured Solutions Provider for the UK National Cyber Security Canter (NCSC). Founded SHe CISO Exec. give back platform (not for Profit) in cybersecurity, leadership and empowerment. Consists of five-day Boot Camp, meetups and monthly mentoring platform (www.shecisoexec.org). Chani’s own experience in the industry and her passion for the InfoSec industry led her to create the SHe CISO Exec. platform that is on a mission to bridging the gaps in cybersecurity industry by empowering a diverse talent pool of emotionally intelligent cybersecurity leaders.
